    Angel Projects launches crowdfunding camping to bring food and joy to needy children this Christmas.

    Angel Projects founder and CEO, Brenda Scheepers, today announced they are joining the crowdfunding revolution as fellow South Africans get behind their campaign in a bid to raise enough funds to provide gifts and food hampers to approximately 1500 children in townships across South Africa via the Crowdfunding website, StartSomeGood.com.

    Help brighten up a school

    Angel Projects needs your help. The group is looking for up to 15 volunteers to help paint a crèche near Phoenix on Saturday 18 June.

    “After almost a year of wanting to work in the Amaoti Township just outside Phoenix, we have finally got a very kind sponsor from WS Lloyd to paint a crèche, Amaqhawesizwe. We are looking for volunteers to help us on Saturday,” said Werda Grunewald from Angel Projects.

    Veggie Tunnels to beat hunger

    Sibaya Casino together with Angel Projects built 2 vegetable tunnels which will assist the Domino Foundation in sustaining their soup kitchen in Phoenix.

    Brookdale Kitchen of the Domino Foundation received a major boost to their soup kitchen with the donation of two vegetable food tunnels sponsored by Sibaya Casino and Angel Projects.

    Sibaya Casino’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) team put their hands to the plough in aid of the Angel Projects, Domino Foundation Vegetable Tunnel development. The first phase of the tunnels took place on Tuesday 22 October where 2 000 seedlings were planted by the Sibaya CSI team.

    Veggie tunnel gives new hope

    ADT Security staff got their hands dirty in a worthwhile community project, constructing a vegetable tunnel for an underprivileged school.

    This year’s lucky recipient is Imbaliyezwe Junior Primary School, in Inchanga. One thousand spinach seedlings were planted during this year’s Earth Week and, in addition, the school is able to generate income through selling spinach to surrounding schools in the community.
